Some Randomness

Just enjoying the nice sunny, warm day and taking random pictures while Aaron was irrigating. We are waiting for our last three does to kid - the clean up buck got them and he was in for a month beginning Halloween, so they should be getting close! We are weaning our second batch of 8 - poor babies think I am killing them but they are all fit as a fiddle! We show in about two weeks - we will only be taking six animals as it is an ADGA show only - can't remember the last time we hauled so few! But look out - three ring MDGA show over Memorial day and we will have to stack 'em deep to get them all on the trailer!

We have, at this point sold all of our doe kids - may sell a few more after the show. Have three little mis-colored mini-Toggenberg wethers we would like to find pet homes for. Sold two yearling bucks the other day as pet weed-eaters - the man was tickled pink and I am sure they are very happy boys - they'd never seen so much grass and weeds!!!

Cherry Butte's Donation to the ISDGA Raffle

Introducing Cherry Butte Oreo - she is a striking little February 2nd gen. Mini-Alpine doeling sired by Cherry Butte Snickers (has a dry leg) and out of Cherry Butte Hugz (who also has her dry leg) who is currently milking about 7 lbs. a day! Oreo is MDGA registered, disbudded, current on shots and worming. She has been hand-raised and is a friendly little gal who would be an excellant addition to anyones mini-Alpine herd! She will be raffled at the Idaho Syringa Dairy Goat Association show to be held over Memorial Day week-end in Boise Idaho. More info on the show can be seen at www.isdga.com
